YMCA: A Vital Part of Your Community
Founded and governed by volunteers, the YMCA of the Upper Main Line is a locally operated non-profit organization with membership open to men, women, boys and girls of all race, religions, incomes and abilities. Chartered in 1962, we have worked "to be the leading charitable community resource... dedicated to building healthy spirit, mind and body through programs and services that nurture children, strengthen families and build strong communities."
Annual Support
At the YMCA, one of our most important goals
has always been to enrich the lives of our community. Our Annual
Support program subsidises program and membership fees with
scholarships for people who otherwise cannot afford them. No
one is ever turned away from the YMCA< due
to financial reasons.
We can do more -- with your help
We want to continue to be a gathering place and center for our communities. Our strengths are to bring people together in a caring atmosphere and to build strong kids, strong families and strong communities. The YMCA enriches lives through our programs and services. But we depend on you to make that possible.
Through the generousity of members like you, the YMCA of the Upper Main Line is looking to continue to fund scholarships for summer camp, child care and preschool or to provide individuals with special needs access to our facilities and programs.
To contribute to our Strong Kids campaign, please contact our Director of Development, Debbie Cornell Naughton at 610-249-9622, ext. 2318 or debbie.naughton@umly(dot)org.
Capital Campaign
The YMCA of the Upper Main Line faces an exciting challenge: How can we continue to meet the demand from our growing communities and membership?
The answer involves renovating, reconfiguring, expanding, and
possibly relocating some of our facilities.
For more information about ways to give to the YMCA, please
contact our Development Office at at debbie.naughton@umly(dot)org.
