Lionville Community YMCA - Program Policies

SWITCHING CLASSES

A member may switch classes any time prior to one week before the start of the session. After this time, there will be a $15.00 administrative fee charged for the switch.
The administrative fee, as well as any pro-rated fee, will remain in the department in which the member originally registered
The remaining balance from the credit will be applied to the new class and the difference in the fee between the old and new class must be paid at the time of the registration change. This balance and additional fees will be credited to the new department.

If the facilities are open all classes go as scheduled (Exception – Preschool, which is dependent on school district schedule changes)
Department directors are expected to have an inclement weather plan to handle any instructor issues.
Instructors are expected to get coverage for any classes they are unable to teach.

All members registering after the start of the session will receive a pro-rated fee based upon the date of their registration.
No registrations will be taken for Swim lessons and music lessons (piano & guitar) after the first week of a session.

Will be given up to one week prior to the 1st day of the new session (no administrative fee charged).
Will only be given after the start of a session for medical reasons (with a doctor’s note)
The administrative fee will remain in the department in which the member originally registered.
Refunds will be given if the YMCA cancels the program and will be pro-rated based upon the number of remaining classes.

Will be given starting one week prior to the 1st day of the new session minus a $15 Administrative Fee and at the discretion of the Senior Program Director.
Credits will be pro-rated based on the date of the credit request. The pro-rated amount will stay in the department in which the member originally registered.
Will be given for any class that the Y cancels.
