SCHEDULE NOTE: Please register for all the camps you
may need for summer. Should the teachers' strike at the Downingtown
Area School District impact the summer camp schedule, the YMCA
will make all necessary adjustments.
The Lionville Community YMCA offers camps for tots to teens on
site at the Y with specialty programs meeting at Marsh Creek State
Park.
Our programs foster social, cultural, physical and emotional development. All activities are based on the Y’s core character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Counselors are selected for their passion, skills, enthusiasm and above all, their interest in building strong kids.
Family discounts are available as is financial assistance.
- Day Camps
- The Lionville Branch Day Camp offers children ages 6 to 10 years
a full-day camp featuring a wide variety of exciting activities,
sports, field trips, swim lessons, intriguing session themes and
awesome special events. Day Camps run in 2-week sessions starting
June 20. The typical camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Before
and after care is available for early drop off starting at 7:00
AM and late pick ups between 4:00 and 6:00 PM.
- Kindercamp
- Kindercamp was developed for your preschool aged youngster to
enjoy mornings full of fun activities! Camps run in two-week, morning
sessions. Your child will spend the day in the care of our energetic,
enthusiastic and well-trained counselors, grouped according to
age to make new friends.
- Sports Camps
- Our sports camps teach sports movement and strategy through
age appropriate drills and games. Sportsmanship and fair play are
key components of our programs for 6 to 12 year olds.
- Specialty Camps
- From baton and dance to art camp, we offer several full-day
specialty camps. For those seeking a true outdoor
experience, we offer several camps including Tracks and Trails
and Fishing at Marsh Creek State Park and Dowlin Forge Park.
- Teen Camps
- Our camps for 13 to 15 year olds are a are great
way for the older camper to spend the summer.
