Traditionally known as places to learn how to do the breast stroke or make a jump shot, YMCAs are rapidly becoming the places where kids and adults learn to paint, write, sing, dance or act.

Arts and Humanities
Through self-expression, group work, and articulation of concerns, uncertainties and fears, the arts are a critical vehicle for accessing, enhancing and practicing the best and strongest values and parts of our selves.
The Lionville Community YMCA offers enrichment programs and camps that help students develop better math and writing skills, express themselves through music, movement or drawing, painting and related crafts.
Our Nature/Environmental programs and camps in conjunction with the Upper Main Line YMCA introduce young people to local wildlife activities and crafts.
