Frequently Asked Questions
- Is online
registration secure?
- Yes. The
online registration site will secure your private information
using a VeriSign SSL certificate.
- How do I get to online registration?
- Click
on the Register Online link from the homepage. Then
click on Easy
to Enroll Online Registration button.
- What
information do I need to log on to online registration?
- You
will need to know the facility access number from the of
the primary adult’s membership card and the date of
birth of the primary adult. The facility access number is
the 12-digit number located on the back of the wallet
ID cards or on the key tags (see below).
- What
do I do if I don’t have a membership card?
- Please stop by your branch and have your photo taken for
your new EZ to Access card.
- While setting up my account, what
should I do if I try to login and I get an error message?
- You should try again with a different adult’s
facility access number and date of birth.
If you still encounter problems, click on the "Otherwise" in
the First Time Users section of the login screen. Fill out
the form and our branch staff will help to solve the problem.
- Does
my membership expiration date make a difference?
- Yes. If
your membership expires before the program ends, you will
not be eligible to register. Please contact your branch
to renew your account. You are unable to renew your membership
account online.
- Do
I have to login in order to see what programs are available?
- No, you can look for programs without logging in.
- Do
I have to login in order to register for programs?
- Yes,
you must login to sign up.
- What
types of programs are available online?
- At
this time, mostly all of the session driven programs and
classes are available online. Most of the tuition
based programs such as Childcare, Swim Team and Dance
are not available. Membership to the YMCA is not available
to purchase online.
- How
do I search for a program?
- You can search for programs
by branch (ex. Lionville Community YMCA, Upper Main Line
YMCA), category (ex. Aquatics, Youth Sports), age, keyword
(ex. Basketball), and program number. For the branch,
category, and age, you will be able to select from a
list of options.
- Can
I sign up more than one person at a time?
- Yes, as long
as the individuals you want to sign up are part of your YMCA
membership account, you can register for more than one person
in one session.
- When can I register for classes?
- Full Members may use EZ to Enroll to sign up for programs
beginning the first day of registration for each session
through the first week of class. Please contact program
director to enroll for a class after the start of the session.
- Will the system allow me to sign up for more than
one class at the same time?
- Yes, please be sure to review your registrations before
checking out to make sure that class schedules do not overlap.
- Can I sign up for child care
or pay my balance online?
- No, at this time you can
not sign up for child care or pay your balance.
- What
do I do if I have a special situation or want to sign up
for a program that does not appear online?
- If you have
a special situation or want to sign up for a program that
does not appear online, you must contact your YMCA branch
to register.
- Can
I use YMCA credits or gift certificates toward my online
purchase?
- No, you cannot use YMCA program
credit or gift certificates when registering online.
- At
what point is my registration complete?
- Your registration is complete and your space is reserved
when you have paid for your selected programs and the confirmation
pops up on your computer screen.
- How long do I have to complete
my registration?
- You cannot allow your computer to
be idle for more than 5 minutes. If you are idle for
more than 5 minutes, you will lose your space and you will
have to start the registration process over.
- What
proof will I have that I registered and paid for a program?
- You
will receive an email confirmation that you will bring to
the YMCA branch on the first day of classes.
- Can
I cancel a program online and receive a refund?
- No,
all cancellations must take place at the YMCA branch as well
as credit/refund requests.
- What
is the credit/refund policy for online registration?
- Our program cancellation policy for online registration
is as follows:
- Credits
- Credits will be pro-rated based on the
date of the credit request – minus the $15 administrative
fee. After this time credits may be given for canceling a class by contacting the Department Director.
- Will be given for any class that the Y cancels
Note: If the facilities are open all classes are held as scheduled. Exception – Preschool,
which is dependent on school district schedule changes.
- Refunds
-
- Will be given up to one week prior to the 1st day of the new session minus
a $15 administrative fee.
- Refunds will be given if the YMCA cancels the program and will be pro-rated based
upon the number of remaining classes.

- Will be given after the start of a session for medical reasons (with a doctor’s
note).
- Switching Classes
-
- May switch classes with a $15.00 administrative fee.

- The remaining balance from the credit will be applied to the new class and the
difference in the fee between the old and new class must be paid at the time
of the registration change.
